Zell Divorce Solutions is a concierge divorce mediation practice serving Philadelphia, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Delaware County, Chester County, and the surrounding communities of southeastern Pennsylvania. Founded and led by Sandra L. Zell, Esquire — a licensed Pennsylvania attorney and certified divorce mediator — the practice offers something the family court system rarely does: a process that is efficient, transparent, and genuinely human.

Most divorcing couples in Pennsylvania don't need a courtroom. They need a guide — someone with deep legal knowledge, honest judgment, and the patience to help two people reach a lasting agreement on their own terms. That is precisely what Zell Divorce Solutions provides. Through attorney-led mediation, flat-fee pricing, and unlimited direct access to Sandra throughout the process, families in the Philadelphia region resolve their divorces in months — not years — at a fraction of the cost of traditional litigation.
Whether you are navigating equitable distribution of marital assets, child custody and parenting plans, child support, alimony, or the division of a family home — every aspect of your divorce is handled with the same standard: thorough, reality-tested, and tailored entirely to your family. No cookie-cutter packages. No billable-hour anxiety. No strangers deciding your future.

Serving clients from Philadelphia to the Main Line, Norristown to Doylestown, King of Prussia to West Chester — and virtually across all of Pennsylvania — Zell Divorce Solutions brings boutique-level attention to one of life's most consequential transitions.

The ZDS Mediation Differentiator

Boutique & Concierge
Sandra intentionally limits her caseload — not as a constraint, but as a commitment. When you're a client, you have her full attention: her thinking, her time, and her care. There is no junior associate handling your calls. No file that gets lost in the shuffle. No sense that someone else's urgency is eclipsing yours.

Attorney & Mediator
Most mediators are either retired litigators who've checked out, or non-attorneys with no legal grounding. Sandra is an active attorney who explains the law in plain English, ensures you know your rights, and structures agreements that hold up. You are legally informed at every step.

A Vetted Professional Network
A smooth, amicable divorce doesn't happen in isolation. Sandra has spent years building a curated circle of specialists — vetted, trusted, and ready to step in at exactly the right moment. You don't search. You don't vet. You don't start from scratch at the worst possible time. You simply get connected.
The Process
Clients arrive carrying the full weight of uncertainty. They leave with a legally sound agreement they shaped themselves, and the clarity that follows it. The process is direct, transparent, and deeply human at every step.

01
Consultation
An honest conversation — no obligations, no packages.

We begin with you: your situation, your concerns, your goals. This is not a sales call. It is a considered first step — an opportunity to determine, together, whether mediation is the right path forward.

02
Guided Disclosure
Full transparency. Nothing held back, nothing hidden.

Both parties share financial information openly and completely. What feels overwhelming in the abstract becomes workable the moment it's on the table. Transparency is not just a legal requirement here — it is the foundation that makes everything else possible.

03
Reality Testing
Every decision grounded in what is actually true.

Before any term is agreed upon, it is tested against reality. Can you afford to keep the house? What does the financial picture actually look like post-divorce? Sandra's curated network — CDFAs, appraisers, mortgage professionals — provides real answers so every decision is made with full information, not hope.

04
Purposeful Negotiation
Every term has a reason. Nothing is standard for the sake of it.

Agreements are built around your actual goals, your legal entitlements, and your family's specific needs — including your children's names, schedules, and futures. There are no boilerplate clauses inserted because they are customary. Every line is earned.

05
Independent Review
You are encouraged — always — to have a second set of eyes.

Before signing, each party may have the agreement reviewed by their own independent counsel. Because both parties have been informed and involved at every stage, this review rarely surfaces surprises. It is a safeguard, not a formality — and it is always welcomed.

06
Resolution
A complete agreement. A clear path forward.

You leave with a thorough marital settlement agreement, a detailed parenting plan, child support calculations, and a genuine sense of what comes next. Not just paperwork — a foundation.

Our Services
Every service you need to close this chapter — handled with care and legal precision.
No two divorces are the same — and no two families should be handed the same package. At Zell Divorce Solutions, there are no tiers and no preset bundles. There is only the work your situation actually requires, approached with the full attention it deserves.

Meet the Founder
Sandra Zell, Esquire
Sandra L. Zell has spent her career at the intersection of law and human experience — first as a practicing attorney, then as a certified divorce mediator, and always as someone who understands that the people walking through her door are not cases to be processed. They are families in the middle of something hard, looking for a way through.

Her approach is rare in the mediation space. Most attorney-mediators are either retired litigators who have moved on emotionally, or non-attorneys operating without genuine legal grounding. Sandra is neither. She is an active attorney who brings legal rigor and personal care in equal measure — someone who can explain your rights in plain English, reality-test every decision, and still ask about your kids by name.
"I got into this field because I know what it feels like to sit across from someone at the worst moment of your life and not know what comes next. My job is to make sure you never feel that alone in this process."
Sandra has lived the complexity of divorce firsthand. That experience — understanding what the uncertainty actually feels like, not just in theory — shapes every consultation, every negotiation, and every agreement she helps build. When clients reach an impasse, she can speak to what the alternative looks like with honesty and authority. Not to frighten, but to inform. Because an informed client makes better decisions for themselves and their family.

Her practice is intentionally boutique. She works with a limited number of clients at any given time, because the kind of attention this work demands cannot be scaled. Over the course of two to five months, she functions as a legal guide, a steady presence, and a connector — drawing on a curated network of financial analysts, therapists, mortgage professionals, appraisers, life coaches, and more to ensure every decision is grounded in reality, not assumption.

The moment she loves most is the one at the end — when a client who arrived tearful and overwhelmed looks back at where they started and barely recognizes themselves. Clear, confident, with a plan. That transformation is the point of all of it.
